EmCee

Darryl Flick -- Em'Cee and Presenter
Darryl was born and raised on the east coast, and this is where he became actively involved in the Leather/SM community. At that time, Richmond, Virginia, was home and Darryl embraced his love of the South as Mr. SouthEast Leather from 1993 to 1995 before producing the contest for the next two years. During that time he also developed the 'Southeast Titleholders Conference,' a.k.a Sashfest, and the Bal de Sade. Both events were extremely popular and some would even say a part of local lore.

Over the years, Darryl has been involved with various community organizations and events throughout the US, Canada and Berlin. Among these was the challenge of being named the first Executive Director of Folsom Street Events, producers of both the Up Your Alley and Folsom Street Fairs. Through his work around the country, Darryl has been nominated twice for Pantheon Man of the Year and has received both the 1997 Southeast Regional Pantheon and the 2005 Northern California Pantheon.


Judges

Miss Victoria -- Presenter & Head Judge
A long-time resident of Atlanta, Victoria has been active in the leather community for 18 years. She joined NLA-Atlanta in the early 1990's, serving as chair for three years, then as secretary for another three years. She was also a founding board member of the SELF committee, on which she served for seven years. During the mid-1990's, she was the first female presenter at Spring in the South, sponsored by Atlanta S/M Solidarity, for whom she also taught classes in caning, bondage and single tailing. She received the Pantheon of Leather Award for the Southeast Region in 1999, and the Jack Stice Memorial Community Service Award in 2002. She has served as a judge for a variety of leather contests, including Ms. World Leather and International Drummer. She has participated in M/s workshops/panel discussions at a variety of events, including Southeast Leatherfest, SWLC, CAPEX, Spring in the South and Frolicon. In 2003, she became the proud owner of Viola Johnson.


Mistress Kali -- Judge and Presenter
Mistress Kali Ward was born again when she walked into an adult bookstore for the first time 19 years ago and left with $300 worth of toys and magazines. Life changed dramatically that day.
A Buffalo, NY native, Kali began to share her experiences by forming People Exchanging Power - Buffalo in 1998 and is an active Advisor to the group today. Now a Las Vegas resident, Kali is sharing her experience and talents as Education Director for Dessert Rose Power Exchange - Las Vegas and is active in several charities and local groups. On a National level, Kali facilitates PEP Annual Conferences and NY Unites as well as her recent involvement with MAsT National.
Kali says, "Teaching is my way of giving back to a community of people that has meant so much to me and my personal happiness." As counselor, educator, therapist and author, Kali has touched many people through effective communication and is most proud of her work with couples. Teaching: F.I.S.T.


Hardy Haberman -- Presenter
Since the mid-70s Hardy has been an active in the leather community and a member of many BDSM/Fetish organizations including Dallas Motorcycle Club, Leather Rose Society, NLA-Dallas, Discipline Corps and a founding member of Inquisition-Dallas. Considering himself a "Pain Technologist" he specializes in CBT and has an unusual fondness for clips clamps and clothespins, as well as more esoteric SM play.
Professionally he is a filmmaker. His documentary on the leather lifestyle "LEATHER" has won numerous awards and appeared in festivals around the world, and his latest film, "Out of the Darkness, The Reality of SM" is currently being used by health care professionals around the world. His non-leather projects include the documentary "The Big Fair" a look inside the State Fair of Texas, which is currently in post-production.
Outside his filmmaking, he is a gay activist, author & speaker on aspects of the SM/Leather scene. His book "The Family Jewels, A guide to male genital play and torment" published by Greenery Press is available at bookstores everywhere. He is currently editor of the NLA-Dallas Newsleather and Circle Leader of "Shouts In The Wilderness" leather circle at the Cathedral Of Hope in Dallas.
He was awarded NLAIs Man Of The Year award in 1999. Since April, 1995, he and his boy Patrick have been living together in Dallas with their Feline Mistresses, Elvira and Samantha and newcomer Jack-The-Cat. Teaching: Fears and Prejudices


Lenny Earl -- Judge and Presenter
has been active in the leather community to varying degrees for the past 12 years. Since coming out at the West Coast Women's Music and Comedy Festival as a leather dyke in 1995, he has had a myriad of growth experiences in the community. These range from being one of the founding members of LA RAWW to competing in a number of contests, and presenting on a variety of subjects. Boy to a leather Daddy, member of a leather household, boot black, and educator to the local community are just a few roles that he enjoys, and takes pride in owning. Lenny lives with his wife, Daddy and partner of 10 years and a small portion of his leather family in Los Angeles. Teaching: Transitioning


Gloria Brame -- Judge and Presenter
Writer and sex therapist based in Athens, Georgia. She has a PhD and MPH in Human Sexuality, and an M.A. in English literature. She is a licensed clinical sexologist. Her sex therapy practice specializes in consensual BDSM and sexual fetishism and sexual dysfunction. She is also a lifestyle dominant.
A poet, blogger, writer and journalist, Brame is best known for two notable sex books: Different Loving: the World of Sexual Dominance and Submission and the more recent Come Hither: A Commonsense Guide To Kinky Sex. The latter book was selected as the 'official guide to kinky sex' by the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality.
She also founded the first on-line BDSM support group, a part of the Human Sexuality Forum on Compuserve, in 1987 and has contributed articles, interviews and expert advice to hundreds of magazines and newspapers. Teaching: Femdommes


Travis Wilson -- Judge and Presenter
Travis Wilson has been an attorney since 1972, and in the Leather/BDSM lifestyle almost as long. He was one of the founders of Houston’s PEP, and was Chairman of that organization for 8 years. He was the founder of the Houston S&M Ball, and was Chairman of that BDSM/Leather event for the first eight Balls, helping to make it an internationally known and respected Fetish event.

Travis has been a presenter at Leather/BDSM events for many years, presenting at such events as Black Rose , Beat me in St. Louis, Tribal Fire , Sinsations in Leather, Kinky Kollege, Texas Leather Pride, the GWNN Bash , Living in Leather, Camp Crucible , Texas Latex Party, Ms. Gulf Coast Leather, Beyond Vanilla, and many more events. He has also been the sole presenter for weekends of presentations for a number of different BDSM groups around the country, including organizations in Nebraska, Washington D.C., Missouri, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas.

In April of 2004, he was the keynote speaker at the Leather Leadership Conference 8. He was one of the facilitators for the 2005 Master’s Retreat held in Dallas, Texas.

When not working or playing with his leather Toys, Travis plays trumpet in Jazz and Rock/Blues/R&B bands. Hey, a guy has to have some fun once in a while.




 

 


Elcca -- Judges' Girl
Elcca, NC Leathergirl 2004, is a producer of the NC Leather Contest and founder and executive Director of the North Carolina Leather Foundation. She has been actively exploring her lifestyle interests for the past 10 years. During that time she has learned many things and she enjoys sharing her lessons with newcomers to the lifestyle. She has been an active  member and volunteer with many groups including the Triangle Munch Group (TMG), Safe Sane Consensual Network (SSCN), The Training Camp (TTC), the San Diego boys of Leather, and the National Leather Association - International. She is excited to be a part of SELF this year and looks forward to creating many wonderful memories!

Tally Mistresses

Beth and Shelli of Frolicon will serve as Tally Mistresses.

Beth of Frolicon -- Tally Mistress and Presenter
Miss Beth has been active in the kink/leather scene since giving her first spanking at a science fiction convention in 1997. She has volunteered, served as a board member and contributor for TALON, CAPEX, MAsT Triad, and Whippersnappers. She was the kink education Director for Fantasm from 1999-2004, after which she became a producer for the Pantheon of Leather Award Nominated event, Frolicon, an adult science fiction convention held every Easter Weekend in Atlanta, GA. Miss Beth has taught classes for Fantasm, SELF, TALON, CAPEX, Whippersnappers, and will be presenting this summer at SC-LOCK. And Shelli is her evil twin partner.


Shelli of Frolicon -- Tally Mistress
Shelli has been active in the kink/leather scene since her introduction to it at a science fiction convention in 1997. She has volunteered and been a contributor for TALON, CAPEX, and Whippersnappers. She was an integral part of the kink track programming for Fantasm from 1999-2004, after which she became a producer for the Pantheon of Leather Award Nominated event, Frolicon, an adult science fiction convention held every Easter Weekend in Atlanta, GA. Shelli has taught classes for Fantasm, CAPEX, and Whippersnappers. She has a special affection for rough body play and has a penchant for the artistic and sadistic use of sharp and pointy things which draw blood.
