Knowing the frequent budget shortfalls in alternative lifestyle education, SouthEast LeatherFest wishes to aggressively promote leather, kink and fetish lifestyle education. The purpose of the SELF Mini Grants is to encourage additional educational opportunities offered by groups and organizations in the Southeast.
SELF Mini Grant Program is intended to supplement group budgets for educational offerings. This money does not replace funds normally budgeted for education. The funds provide opportunities to enhance and enrich alternative lifestyle learning.
The goals of the proposed educational activities must be: (1) to contribute to personal enrichment of a broad spectrum of people; (2) to help improve cohesion between sub cultures; (3) to provide educational experiences leading to a better understanding of alternative lifestyle issues. The highest priority will be given to proposals that directly address issues associated with D/s, S/m and related matters.
Effective for 2007-2008, available grants up to $300 per proposal will be awarded.
